PORTFOLIO

I’ve done a lot over the past 20 years. From starting in the ’90s coding websites in Notepad and making Flash eCards for record labels, to more than a dozen global product launches at Dell, to starting online ordering/delivery/loyalty programs for two restaurant chains, to launching a new kids media app at GoNoodle, to helping start not only a new brand, but an entirely new product category at HeroWear…it’s been a lot!

This is just a sampling of a few video pieces that I’m able to share, some going back decades, so remember — the past is a foreign country: we did things differently back then. But I’m still proud of the work I’ve done through the years.

Future Fuzz Podcast (2026)

Recorded in Nov 2025 and published in Jan 2026, this podcast was a bit of a hybrid between marketing chat and exosuit pitching.

Apex 2 Launch (2023)

Agency: Gamma Blast

Scripted and supervised by Paul Nicholson. Shot and edited by Gamma Blast in Nashville, TN for a budget of about $20,000

This was a major evolution in the product and represented a major opportunity to tell the brand story to a new audience, thanks to the attention garnered by the launch announcement.

While this video was made primarily for people with some familiarity with the brand, it also went to a lot of people with no knowledge of HeroWear or even of exosuits as a category, so it had to do a lot of work in ~10 mins. (A shorter, ~6 min cut focused only on the new product was created by Paul and can be seen here)

Presentation at NSC (2022)

Internal

This is a presentation I gave as part of an innovation challenge at the National Safety Council’s 2022 National Congress conference. I developed the presentation and gave it in front of more than 3,000 people — and we won the innovation challenge!

Dell Printers and the Medieval Scribe (2012)

Agency: Second City Works

This was a really fun project for YouTube pre-roll ads. Dell Printers were a challenger brand — HP owned 80% of the business printer market — so we were looking to break through with a creative approach, while staying within the Dell corporate brand guidelines. This was done in collaboration with Second City Comedy’s Second City Works group. I selected the agency, set the goals and direction, and the SCW team produced all the videos based on my approval of the script and final cut.
